As a history professor, my fascination with Central Europe led me to Pokoje w Portofino for Christmas. The flexibility of payment was a relief - no need to pay in advance. The buffet breakfast exceeded expectations, and the friendly staff created a warm, familiar atmosphere.Located by a serene lake, our room above the restaurant was cozy but lacked space. The area felt isolated, yet accessible by bus or train. We opted for a local kebab joint due to a busy on-site restaurant hosting numerous wedding parties. The staff was accommodating, especially during breakfast. Wi-Fi was reliable, perfect for planning historical explorations.Pokoje w Portofino exuded charm, with kittens roaming freely and a peaceful ambiance despite the bustling restaurant. Breakfast was delightful, with fresh offerings until late morning. Pets were welcome, adding a homely touch. The room amenities, like towels and toiletries, were thoughtful.
